World of WearableArt Show: GLO!

The internationally acclaimed World of WearableArt Show returns to Wellington with its new theme, GLO! Expect an incredible fusion of wearable art, live music, dance and aerial performance as finalist garments from designers around the world come to life on stage. Matilda The Musical

St James Theatre

Roald Dahl’s much-loved story comes to life in this award-winning musical featuring original songs by Tim Minchin. Packed with high-energy dance, colourful characters and plenty of comedy, the show follows the clever and courageous Matilda as she takes a stand against the terrifying Miss Trunchbull. The Wiggles Live in Concert

The Wiggles are returning to Wellington with a colourful, interactive show created especially for young children and their families. Kids can sing and dance along with the Wiggles, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword in a joy-filled live performance. Find out more 

Wellington Jazz Festival

14 October – 18 October 2026

The Wellington Jazz Festival celebrates thirty years in the capital with more than one hundred gigs over five music-filled days. Bars, theatres and venues across the city will come alive with jazz, soul, funk, fusion and R&B from leading international artists and talented performers from across Aotearoa. Find out more 

High Tide Festival

High Tide Festival returns to the Wellington waterfront for a full day of live electronic music and festival energy. Set against the harbour at Waitangi Park, the event brings together local and international artists for one of the city’s biggest outdoor music celebrations. This event is R18. Find out more
