Melanie Bracewell is back with a brand-new hour-long show. It took a long time to write because she got distracted by a Sudoku puzzle. Melanie Bracewell – Dilly Dallying is about procrastination. Come along (don’t be late) to hear the Kiwi comic’s hilarious observations about avoidance. The UK comedy guide Chortle described Melanie as a “phenomenal storyteller”. Expect some wild stories as she dissects why she ‘puts things off’ for another day.
Te Wehi — I’m Home NZ Album Tour
St James Theatre. Friday, 26 June
A debut album and a first-ever headline tour of New Zealand and Australia make 2026 a huge year for Te Wehi. The Kiwi singer has found fame for his mix of reggae, soul, and country. He’s carved out his own sound and, in the process, connected with a genuine fan base across the country. All 15 songs on the album will feature in the concert. They are rooted in real-life stories, cultural pride, and deep whakapapa.
Mills Albert Wellington Saints v Nelson Giants
TSB Arena. Friday, 26 June
The Mills Albert Wellington Saints take to the court for what is sure to be a massive 2026 season. After taking out the 2025 season with a nail-biting win over the Southland Sharks, can they defend their championship title? Kiwi coach Aaron Young takes to the helm again after winning coach of the year. Hutt Valley local Jordan Hunt returns to the team after representing New Zealand in the Tall Blacks, and Melbourne’s Akech Aliir joins the Saints, bringing 6’9” of power and athleticism.
